Detailed itineraries for each course are sent out to each registrant prior to the beginning of the course. Most courses are weather dependent. Southern Alberta's weather (and the weather on Vancouver Island) can be beautiful, and, in a matter of hours, it can get ugly. All participants should bring a hat, sun glasses, sun screen and a day pack complete with some warm weather clothing, wind jacket and rain gear. Good footing with non slip soles are essential. Remember your camera and/or camcorder!!!

Our next Rocks, Records, Contracts and Reserves cours is on January 24th, 2012. Our next Oil and Gas Essentials Course will be held on Thursday, May 3rd, 2012. We are looking at scheduling our Production and Facilities Essentials Course in June. We look forward to seeing you then. Please contact us at info@geohistory.ca if you would like to register for any of our courses. And don't forget - GeoHistory is more than happy to accommodate your request for a specialized field course or convention / conference event.
